Chennai, May 20: Tamil cinema stars Vishal and Sai Dhanshika have officially announced their wedding, set to take place on August 29, 2025. The couple, who had kept their relationship private until now, confirmed the news during a press conference for the film Yogi Da in Chennai, following a viral report about their impending marriage.
A Relationship That Blossomed Over 15 Years
At the event, Sai Dhanshika shared heartfelt details about their journey.
“We didn’t intend to make this announcement today,” she said, referring to the wedding news leak. “Initially, we planned to maintain our public image as friends. But after the report went viral, we felt there was no need to hide anymore.”
Dhanshika revealed that though she has known Vishal for over 15 years, their romantic relationship began only recently.
“It was just a few months ago that we started having meaningful conversations. We realized that something special was developing between us. We mutually decided we wanted to get married,” she added. “I love you, Vishal.”
She also expressed gratitude for Vishal’s kindness during a difficult period in her life:
